George was found on the 4th of November by Suman Aunty, a mass feeder who has become largely associated with us. She found him with a large gash across his face, stretching from behind his ear to his lip. Even though he was stitched up the next day, George was a little troublesome and refused to stay in a cone. His incessant fiddling with his injuries caused him to take twice as long to recover. His injuries, we later figured out, were due to a fight with another alpha. These territorial issues can get rather violent and can be avoided by spaying male cats, another reason to push for the spaying of strays.
