About Us

The Feline Foundation was founded in 2017 by Cat Café Studio, to take our commitment to helping cats to the next level. While rescuing cats for over 7 years, we noticed countless issues that prevented us from making the full impact that we intended to. All these experiences have led us to starting up the five activities stated below. Through focusing on all these different aspects, we will be able to address the root causes of poor health and abuse of street animals in a holistic way, and therefore make a sustainable improvement to their lives.

Trap-Neuter-Return

We use the trap-neuter-return (TNR) method to control the population of street animals and improve their health at the same time. These infographics explain how the TNR method works, and why killing cats to control the population is not an option for us:

Community outreach

With our integrated approach, we carry out trap-neuter-return in collaboration with community members and educate them about street animal welfare and care at the same time. This way, we create a network of allies and on-the-ground first responders throughout the city, so that the health of street animals can be monitored and ensured beyond merely the capacities of our core team. Our approach consists of:
